The Parisian Jacket will be a charming addition to your wardrobe. It has a notched collar, cut-on 3/4-length sleeves on the bias, side panels with underarm gussets, pockets in the side front seams, and two center front buttons. It works up beautifully in a range of fabrics: from linen to boucle, piqué to plaid, and everything in between. You'll learn how to sew a notched collar, how to make perfect bound buttonholes (and matching facings), how to install a lining by hand, how to apply a gusset, how to stabilize the hems of the bias sleeves, and much, much more.
You'll be with me every step of the way. We'll begin, as all couture projects do, with looking at the jacket in muslin, then we'll move on to underlinings and all the little details that make a carefully-sewn jacket so very special.
