A delightful organic cotton doll from Nanchen in Germany, this "Madel" or girl doll is 12" tall very much in the Waldorf style of dolls. It comes with a hand-painted face and bangs.  The hat is sewn onto the head - so nothing to lose!

The soft organic cotton terry body is soft to the touch. The jersey knit dress is removable.

This Nanchen doll is filled with  which is wool that is strictly controlled, for example, the pasture is not sprayed with pesticides, and there is no fertilizer used in the soil.

Nanchen Dolls have been lovingly stitched in a small town just outside of Kassel, Germany, since 1983. The dolls are made from materials that are sourced from strictly organic cultivation and organic farming. The faces are individually hand-painted, giving each doll its own unique character.
